I’m Miela, a freelance photographer specialising in Festival & Boudoir photography capturing Chaos since 2017.

My photographic services include:

Documenting the wonderful curated chaos of festivals and the creative forces, talents and communities that reside within.

Making mayhem through collaborative portraiture, sensual boudoir & engagement photography sessions, as a vehicle to connect bodies, minds and earth.

I love generating and realising concepts for editorial, press and concept shoots, even ecommerce.

And have documented BTS Stills for Films, Runway, Commercial event coverage, Concert Photography.

In the past 5 years I’ve worked with local & international festivals (Soft Centre, Dark Mofo), concerts, performing art and music collectives (Oyster Club ,Ghetto Collective), artists djs (incl. Aaron Sevilla, Ana Yani), organisations (AFTRS, Casula Powerhouse, Art Alminac), local brands (Maisieprints, Stacks of Wax) and many incredible individuals.

I currently offer boudoir sessions, or what I like to call outdoor nudoir sessions. I have extensive experience in front and behind the camera (don’t let my smily squint or concentration faces to the right fool you jeje), and am always happy to take the reigns & direct or follow your lead.

I’ve had various portraits exhibited coast to coast in Australia, including the IRIS Award 2022 & 2023.

Whilst I’m on the festival road of the Americas this year, I want to use my camera to support/contribute to marginalised communities, creative & communal projects and deal with human rights and our current climate crisis.
